A Old School Morse tutor with separate controls for Mode, Gap, Speed and Volume also works as practice oscillator for straight and Iambic Keys Loads of new features.
This is a fully Built and tested unit.
This is a traditional old school type Morse tutor (Like the old Datong D70 if you're of a certain age)
It offers the following modes
1:) Random Letters (5 Figure groups) 2:) Random Numbers (5 Figure groups) 3:) Random Mix (5 Figure groups) 4:) Random Prosigns 5:) Random International Callsigns 6:) Random Words and abbreviations 7:) Contest Mode (Callsign followed by Serial number and short QSO ending with random variation in speed and pitch for realism )
Also built in Morse practice oscillator Can be used with a straight key OR Iambic paddle key (Mode A or B user selectable).
Fixed Low level sinewave output for use with a PC to decode its tutor or your own sending (needs free software to decode which can be downloaded from my 'free stuff' page)
User adjustable pitch without removing the lid
Head phone output socket (3.5mm Stereo or mono)
Simple to use with adjustable Gap, Speed, and volume. mode select by push button , simply press and hold to move to the next mode in the list. Tutor remembers the last used mode and will startup on that mode next time you turn it on. Internal speaker but a external speaker jack socket is on the rear panel too. Can be powered from external supply between 7 and 15v but also has a internal 9v battery for portable use. To use the practice oscillator function insert the key with the tutor turned off. Hold the key down and turn on the tutor. The tutor now is in oscillator mode and will just act as an practice oscillator until it is turned off again (if using a Iambic paddle press and hold the left paddle when turning it on)
All in all a powerful and practical Tutor with many advanced feature.
